China's new regulation came into the picture

In April '23, the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) issued draft regulations aimed at managing the development of generative artificial intelligence products like ChatGPT.
These proposed measures establish guidelines for generative AI services, including the permissible content they can generate. According to the rules, the content must align with the principles of socialism and must not undermine state authority.

By highlighting these concerns, the CAC's regulations provide a framework for companies to navigate the development of this technology. These measures, set to take effect later this

AI safety summit 2023 happened in the UK

The AI safety summit 2023 took place at Bletchley Park in Buckinghamshire, a historic site in computer science development and former home of British Enigma codebreaking. It marked a significant milestone for safe AI implementation across various domains.

The summit brought together CEOs of leading AI companies, representatives from top AI nations, and thought leaders from academia and civil society to discuss challenges and solutions in responsible AI development and deployment.

Key objectives discussed during the summit:

  • Shape AI's future: AI safety is an ongoing process, requiring a series of international safety summits. Korea and France have agreed to host future events.
