Advanced will demonstrate its leading solutions on stand 87

Advanced will be exhibiting its integrated supply chain management software covering logistics and warehouse management at IntraLogisteX on 25 and 26 March 2015 at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.

IntraLogisteX brings together logistics professionals who are looking for solutions to current and future challenges, from the latest materials handling technologies to full-scale warehouse automation options.

The logistics industry is worth £74.45 billion to the UK economy, with one in 12 people working in the sector*. There are also signs that the industry is growing. In 2013 reported profit margins for the top 100 hauliers rose by 2% from the previous year, and UK exports to the rest of the world are set to increase by 1%**. As a result Advanced is experiencing increased demand for its supply chain management solutions, which it will be demonstrating at the IntraLogistex event.

Advanced is showcasing OpenWMS, its warehouse management system, OpenLogistix - its logistics management solution and OpenDashoards - its real-time business intelligence reporting solution, on stand 87.

OpenWMS is designed for both 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) and owner operators. It is used by businesses operating in industries ranging from apparel, food and beverage, paper and packaging, to consumer electronics and automotive.

OpenDashboards enables companies to easily monitor their Key Performance Indicators using real-time data via graphical dashboard displays. Customers using the software include DSV Solutions, Port of Tyne, RIF Logistics and Dimensions Clothing.

Simon Fowler, Managing Director at Advanced (Commercial Division), says: “OpenWMS and OpenDashboards deliver greater insight into performance and significantly increase productivity by reducing time-consuming administration. As a result businesses gain greater capacity to provide value-added services and win new customer contracts to boost growth.

“Logistics is a competitive market where businesses operate within tight margins. Technology is key to maximising profitability by enabling companies to work as efficiently as possible, without compromising the quality of their service offering.”

Advanced is a market-leading business application and services provider with over 20 years’ experience providing a range of back office and front line solutions to UK organisations.
