The system allows generation of payments certificates for use with Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) subcontractors. In order to distinguish between a standard Supplier Account and a Subcontractor Account, the system will require the entry of a CIS verification code. This will then reassign the Supplier as a Subcontractor.

The system will calculate CIS deductions for subcontractors, deducting only for CIS qualifying items (i.e. labour) under pre agreed contract terms.
