BKSB: Education & Learning Software

Once set up with a login, your learners will receive a URL, username and password for BKSB. They can then access BKSB from anywhere with an internet connection.  

Our assessments use Item Response Theory and a wealth of historical data to judge each learner's level each time they answer a question. The previous question, in turn, informs the next question that is chosen, resulting in a bespoke assessment that creates a detailed and intelligent judgement of the learner's current level.   

BKSB contains two assessments – English and Math skills.

The English initial assessment measures English proficiency in sentence structure, grammar, spelling, comprehension, vocabulary, and reading ability. It involves reading short passages and answering related sample questions to gauge your understanding.

The questions increase in difficulty as you progress through the assessment. Please note that you do not need to answer every question correctly, and there is a small room for errors.

The BKSB Maths initial assessment evaluates your current mathematical skills, covering concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, metric measures, conversions, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, geometry and data. The questions increase in difficulty, and a few mistakes are acceptable.

After completing each assessment, you’ll see your level on the results screen. You don’t need to continue and complete the diagnostic assessment unless instructed to.

In addition to several in-built video guides for common processes, our expert in-house support team is on hand to help with any issues you may have.  

The actual test can be taken through a training provider or your local college.  

We cannot provide you with an accreditation, but we can support your learner journey experience through our assessments and interactive resources. Our software is designed to help students achieve their learning goals.
