What is GP Workflow Assistant?

GP Workflow Assistant (Docman AI) is an Artificial Intelligence-powered assistant within GP Document Workflow (Docman10X), designed to help GP surgeries review and manage their documents more efficiently. It enhances the process of summarising, reviewing, actioning and coding clinical of documents, reducing the time and effort required to complete manual administrative tasks.

Can GP Workflow Assistant be used to makes suggestions on documents that have already been filed?

The GP Workflow Assistant will start processing documents from the time that the practice enable the feature within their system. Documents received prior to this date will not be processed at this time.

Does GP Document Workflow store directly to the clinical system?

Documents and codes are filed into the patients record in the clinical system once they have been saved in Docman.

In the context of the GP Workflow Assistant, the AI Clinical Coding and AI Clinical Summarisation Agents are essentially the underlying technology that powers the clinical coding and summarisation features that were previously referred to as modules.

No, there is an extra cost for the AI Clinical Coding Agent. This is also priced per patient. Please speak with your Account Manager for details on pricing.

Can you see if a code has already been added to the patient record without having to access the clinical system?

Yes, the coding suggestions display an indicator to show if the suggested code already exists on a patient record, preventing duplication.

Can you see if a code is designated a QOF code?

Yes, an indicator that a code is a QOF code is provided.

Does Docman and GP Workflow Assistant handle handwritten letters?

Unfortunately, handwritten letters are not currently supported.

Does the AI pick up abbreviations?

We know there are large numbers of abbreviations, and many are understood. Whilst the AI assistant is doing a good job of detecting the common abbreviations, it is not perfect, and this is the importance of the “human in the loop”.
