What is our deferred speech recognition module?
Deferred Speech recognition is Advanced’s latest module for Digital Dictation. This module brings advanced speech recognition to your fingertips, providing you with the dictation services of the future with highly accurate dictations and AI learning capabilities.
How does it work?
Deferred speech recognition seamlessly integrates within the existing Digital Dictation layout, meaning it’s easy for users to navigate the new module without difficulty. Deferred speech recognition allows the client to record their dictation as per normal, however the dictation is uploaded onto the digital dictation server where it remains on hold for 3 minutes, allowing the user to retract the dictation if it was sent in error. Following this, the dictation is then uploaded from the user’s PC and run through the AWS speech recognition, generating text that is then returned to the user along with the audio. When pressing play you’ll find that the audio is synced with the text, highlighting the corresponding words with the audio currently playing.
You’ll be able to then edit or copy the text, if you want to edit the text, a tab will then open with the text ready to be edited. The AWS speech recognition allows for highly accurate results with minimal edits, saving your firm and its users even more time. Our Deferred Speech module utilises AI to provides advanced speech recognition capable of adding accurate punctuation to your text, with the capability to learn constantly as the user uses the software.
One of the biggest benefits of this is that it means lawyers can get straight to using the software on day one without any voice training or familiarity with dictation and will still obtain a very high level of accuracy. You can also upload a custom dictionary to let the AI know of certain data such as addresses other contextual data to increase accuracy and reduce time spent on dictation.
