A new era for Advanced

The only thing that’s constant in business these days is change, and the past six months has been not only one of the most transformative periods in the history of Advanced but also one of the biggest transformations undertaken by any British business. We have opened new offices, aligned our various business areas, put together a new C-suite, rebranded and launched a new website, as we move towards one company with one brand and one vision.

You may have read or seen in the media the recent news about our new Midlands headquarters in the famous Mailbox building, right in the heart of Birmingham. We are bringing 400 jobs to the city’s thriving technology sector in a newly refurbished, state-of-the-art office – one floor above Harvey Nichols, one of our long-standing customers.

This comes just a few months after we moved into our stunning new headquarters at Ditton Park in Slough. These new offices not only provide our staff with outstanding facilities but also help to ensure that we can continue to innovate and develop technology that positively impacts the lives of millions of people.

At the same time as officially opening our Birmingham office, we also announced our new talent acquisition programme. The programme is unique in the technology sector in that it’s not only open to university graduates. Whatever your background, all we’re looking for is exceptional talent, potential and a desire to build a career in IT – an ever-changing industry that offers so many opportunities.

We are looking to recruit 1,000 people over the next 18 months and currently have lots of vacancies for all sorts of roles, from sales and marketing to customer support and software development. Advanced has grown massively in the past eight years to become a £230m business and the third largest software provider to the UK market. These changes herald the start of an exciting new era for the company and put us in a strong position to grow even further.
