The annual CIPP excellence awards are just around the corner. One of the longest running independent awards in the industry, the excellence awards represent the perfect time to recognise those who make a difference in the payroll industry.
These awards were created to champion influential and inspirational leading lights within the world of payroll. As you can imagine, competition is pretty fierce, which is why we’re delighted to announce that our own Julie Lock, Commercial Director at Advanced, has been shortlisted for the Luminary Award.
Julie is a respected and much sought after voice for the most influential payroll industry bodies regularly being called upon by bodies such as the CIPP, HR Director and more, to give her insight into emerging trends and forecasting the future of the industry.
Her drive and passion for the sector has seen her championing payroll as an important force within their parent organisations. Julie truly believes in payroll as champions of wellbeing and good practice and has brought that belief to some of the biggest and most influential forums in the working world.
Julie was actively involved in discussions to improve and inform the content of the Foundation degree in Payroll Management programme as part of the CIPP Taskforce group in 2019. Julie’s input was key in shaping the design of this educational programme and furthering the goal of it being recognised as a Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ), a government standard benchmark.
