Accounting software will save one day a month in man hours
Advanced is launching a new payment portal to automate credit card processing, delivering time and cost savings for users. The Advanced Exchequer Payment Portal will also simplify compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements as it integrates with leading payment processing system providers.
The portal works with orders entered through the Advanced Exchequer Sales Order Processing system or via telephone, post, fax or email linked to an approved payment provider. It can also be configured to work with websites and web stores.
The solution will initially be integrated with Sage Pay, with other payment providers, such as PayPal and Worldpay, being added based on demand. As the portal acts as a gateway to these providers credit card information does not need to be stored in the Advanced system, which supports PCI compliance and adds an extra level of security.
The launch of the portal forms part of the release of Advanced Exchequer 2015 R1, an upgrade to the existing core finance system which includes 30 enhancements and significant development of the Prompt Payment Discount (PPD) and Order Payments modules.
The PPD upgrade ensures users can easily control and process large volumes of these discounts while staying compliant with government legislation, without the need to manually create individual, rather than lengthy, credit notes.
The Order Payments development will make it faster for customers to process orders when receiving payments at the same time, such as by phone or online, by automatically attaching orders to payments.
Simon Fowler, Managing Director, Exchequer at Advanced says,
“We are committed to constantly investing in the solutions we offer to improve the experience and productivity for end users. Our new payment portal significantly streamlines reconciliation and management throughout the credit card transaction lifecycle whilst tightening security controls.
“The enhancements we have made to our core system have been driven by user feedback, and provide ongoing cost and time efficiencies. Another major advantage is that businesses can have peace of mind that Advanced Exchequer ensures they can remain compliant with changing legislation, with as little effort as possible.”
The Advanced Exchequer Payment Portal and new core system modules will be launched at Advanced’s annual customer conference, ‘Advanced World - Facing the Future’, which will be held at the Business Design Centre in London on 5th November 2015.
