Business Cloud Essentials pioneers flexible working and transforms the way you work

by Junaid Jawed, Senior Customer Advocacy Executive

Our customers have provided succinct feedback on how Business Cloud Essentials supported their organisations to become robust and agile. Our manufacturing software is designed to battle key issues plaguing teams that function in the manufacturing industry. From lost time due to firefighting problems, an inability to manage production levels and an incomplete view of cash flow, manufacturers require a solution that is designed to support them and to facilitate their operational processes. Business Cloud Essentials is just that, it is primarily a manufacturing software that boasts functionality around stock control, e-commerce, accounting, production and scheduling.

As a customer obsessed organisation, the feedback of our customers drives us and helps to shape our strategies moving forward. Accordingly, we asked our customers what their favourite features of Business Cloud Essentials are, and the impact they have on their organisation. We’ve collated their feedback and pinpointed three features that have defined our customer’s experience: ease of use, key finance and traceability. In a digital world, transparency provided by cloud based software is the biggest asset an organisation can have at their disposal, as it provides clear ways of working, ease of accessibility and comprehensive visibility.

Ease of use is a vital component of Business Cloud Essentials, it is intentionally designed to be simple to use. Each customer is assigned a Customer Success Manager, who becomes their designated contact throughout implementation as well as their journey with Advanced. Their role is to ensure you get the absolute maximum value from the solution, and they are always on hand to support with any requirements or queries. Throughout initial implementation, an Onboarding Manager is provided to optimise the system for your specific needs. After this you can access our Customer Portal and obtain further hands-on support from your Support Team. Andrew Fenland from Fenland Leisure Products comments: ‘The training is very engaging and easy to follow and use.’ Aviv at RJF Farhi Ltd further notes that the system makes it ‘easy to manage work orders’. Peter from Baugh and Weeden echoes a similar sentiment ‘ BCE is easy to navigate around and is very intuitive. It makes finding just what you are looking for easy.’

The finance and sales functionality in BCE is a real game-changer. Accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), it takes away some of the pressure and helps you to worry less about your finances. Matt Stocks at One Contracts recognises some of the most transformative functionality to be ‘identifying material requirements, planning and the seamless order processing and invoicing.’ BCE is designed to accommodate and support the sales process through e-commerce. Maximising online sales is critical for businesses today and BCE puts your online sales into autopilot. It links seamlessly with your e-commerce platform, meaning that your sales, pricing and inventory are always synchronised. Teresa from Baugh and Weeden highlights ‘The fact that you can process a quotation to a sales order with a click of a button, rather than having to enter it all again once the order has been accepted and purchase order received. Also, I like that you are able to pick and dispatch items before the invoice has been done, this has been a god send when the office has been busy, the stress of having to stop everything to get the invoices done so that the items can be dispatched has been taken away and we are free to invoice them at our leisure.’

With hybrid working patterns, our cloud-based software is created to provide transparency and traceability. Cloud-based systems allow you to access your data online at any time (and from any place). This is even more important now than ever, as many  people are choosing to work from home and opting into hybrid working patterns. Michelle from Liquid Metering Instruments acknowledges the ability to add documents ensures ‘easy traceability’. Calum Mainland from Hunwick Engineering adds that his favourite component is ‘viewing live jobs’, whilst Pascal acknowledges that cloud based functionality offers ‘more flexibility’.

The aim of Business Cloud Essentials is to remove the headaches that usually come with drawn-out manual processes, allowing you to improve your agility and make more proactive business decisions.
