Within the OneAdvanced Apprenticeship Management System, learners use a single SSO login to access all their learning, assessment, and progress tracking in one place. Resources are designed for self-directed learning, so learners can study anytime, anywhere.​

Assessment and Learning (bksb) uses AI and a wealth of historic data to generate adaptive assessments uniquely tailored to each individual learner. Using Item Response Theory, every question is chosen to deliver the most powerful insight into the learner’s current level and specific skill gaps. This goes beyond standard diagnostic categories to precisely identify where each learner is within a level, enabling truly personalised learning plans from day one.​ 

Yes. Assessment and Learning (bksb) connects seamlessly with Learner Management System (PICS) and ePortfolio (Smart Assessor) through the OneAdvanced Apprenticeship Management System, which creates a complete end-to-end platform for the entire apprenticeship journey. It also integrates with other OneAdvanced education products. SSO ensures one login across the entire platform.​

Assessment and Learning (bksb) covers: Functional Skills English and Maths (Entry Level 1 to Level 2), GCSE English Language, English Literature, Maths Foundation and Higher (any exam board), and Digital Skills including Essential Digital Skills and Digital Functional Skills (Entry Level 3 to Level 1).​

Inbuilt progression reports provide audit-ready evidence at the click of a button, showing learner attainment, improvement, and time spent on learning activities. This significantly reduces inspection preparation time, turning weeks of manual evidence gathering into days. Real-time reporting also provides full visibility and audit trails for funding bodies.​

Assessment and Learning (bksb) is not an awarding organisation and does not provide accreditation or exam delivery. However, we provide comprehensive exam preparation resources: exam-style practice questions, entry level spelling tests, and GCSE exam ‘top tips’ – everything learners need to build confidence and readiness for their exams with their registered awarding body.​

OneAdvanced provides comprehensive implementation support including data migration, staff training, and onboarding planning. Ongoing support is available through your account manager and the support team. The platform is designed to be intuitive, minimising training burden for learners, tutors, and administrators.​

From enrolment to achievement, Assessment and Learning (bksb) supports every stage of the Functional Skills journey: initial assessment to identify current English and maths levels; diagnostic assessment to identify specific skill gaps; individual learning plan creation; personalised learning resources (Entry Level 1 to Level 2); progress checks at the end of each module; exam-style practice questions; and in-depth progression reporting. All courses are mapped to Functional Skills Reform specifications.​

The GCSE solution provides graded assessments, personalised learning resources, and exam preparation content for English Language (including resit support for papers 1 & 2 and SPaG), English Literature, and Maths Foundation and Higher. Resources are designed to build confidence and competence, particularly for resit learners affected by prior exam failure. Graded assessments track GCSE progress and support learners working towards exams on any exam board.​
