Businesses today aren’t just defined by their profits – they're expected to drive societal progress, inclusion, and sustainability. Embracing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles offers a powerful way to achieve these goals.
At OneAdvanced, we leverage community engagement as a core pillar of our ESG efforts. By actively connecting with the people and communities we serve, we create opportunities to listen, learn, and engage on issues we care deeply about.
Community engagement at OneAdvanced
Here’s what’s front of mind for OneAdvanced when vetting our community-focused ESG initiatives to create lasting impact:
1. Championing inclusivity by addressing inequality
The King’s Trust partnership
Since 2017, we’ve proudly partnered with The King’s Trust to support disadvantaged youth across the UK. Our contributions have enabled:
- The Trust’s Enterprise Programme: Supporting young people aged 18-30 in starting their own business or developing entrepreneurial skills.
- The Trust’s Education Programmes (Mosaic): Providing mentoring for young individuals aged 11-30 from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds.
Impact: In 2024, our donations supported 12 young people through The Trust’s Enterprise Programme and 11 through The Trust’s Education Programmes.

2. Sparking innovation and shaping future workforce
Alliance with Birmingham Metropolitan College (BMet)
Our collaboration with BMet is driving impactful change by aligning education with industry needs. Key highlights of our teamwork include:
- Enhancing T Level programs and expanding industry placements opportunities.
- Supporting curriculum development tailored to employer needs.
- Facilitating student opportunities through hackathons and training programmes.
- Offering access to state-of-the-art technology and resources.
Impact: We have successfully established T-level industry placements for students in Digital Production, Design and Development and Digital Support Services.
3. Leveraging technology for wider impact
Transforming healthcare across the UK and Ireland
Our partnership with NHS, across the UK and Ireland, supports out-of-hours practitioners, ambulance services, acute care facilities, and NHS Trusts by delivering a broad spectrum of mental health and community health services. We make this possible through our innovative healthcare and financial solutions .
Impact: Our work with Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust highlights these efforts. By using OneAdvanced’s Virtual Smartcard solution, the Trust has enhanced its staff’s ability to securely and efficiently access NHS systems, delivering care with greater precision.

4. Empowering employees to give back
Employee-led initiatives across the UK, India, and Australia
In the UK, the OneAdvanced team has supported multiple community causes by partnering with local foodbanks and taking on inspiring challenges like triathlons and mountain climbs. In India and Australia, our employees have also championed impactful community projects, including building sanitation facilities in Bengaluru and contributing to medical research while supporting cancer patients in Australia.

Sally Scott was promoted to the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at OneAdvanced in December 2015. She had previously been Marketing Director of our Business Solutions division, delivering a breadth of back-office and specialist CRM solutions to the mid and enterprise market. Sally is now responsible for aligning the company’s marketing initiatives and evolving brand awareness to our ambitious growth plans.
